1. Click the "Reset My Password" button and then enter your username (this is your Charter PID or legacy Charter login ID).
2. Click “Search.”
3. Answer the security questions that you previously established.
4. Click “Check Answers.”
IMPORTANT: If you only need to validate your identity, stop at Step 4. There's no need to reset your password when only validating your identity.
5. Enter a new password in both fields shown (New Password and Confirm Password), following the on-screen requirements.
6. Click “Change Password.”
PLEASE NOTE: The steps above will only work if your account has already been activated. If you have not set up your security questions, you will need to activate your account before resetting your password.
Once set, your new password will apply to any existing network account: Charter ESSO, Charter network ID (PID or legacy Charter login ID), TWC network ID, Bright House Networks ID). To prevent being locked out, make sure to apply the new password to your mobile devices (email/WiFi) and other computers you use.
